TOURIST ATTRACTIVENESS OF MARSHAL GRANDSON
Sacred Catalina of Guadalcazár. The Spaniards named this way to that it pierces located in one of the most fertile valleys in the south Peruvian coast.

Finally, in August of 1868 a terrible earthquake knocked down it and it could not be reconstructed, for what Sacred Domingo's monastery transformed into cathedral or main church. This church is one of the few ones in the world where it is worshipped to a Santa of present body, Santa Fortunata whose remains were exhumed of the Catacombs of Calepodio after XV centuries, arriving to Moquegua in 1798.

Built in 1994 inside the ruins of what was the main church Santa Catalina from Alexandria.

Regional Museum of Moquegua (INC) Former Reclusion Center

Documents that already confirm their existence in 1762 as place of Indian or black rebels' of the time reclusion exist. Valley of Omate
To 147 km to the north of the city of Moquegua (6 hours in car); and to 129 km to the southeast of the city of Arequipa (4 hours in car).
This valley is located in the Western Mountain range of Andes, between snowy Goylanto and Paylogen and the hills Junín and Hill Blanco.
